BBC - Aaron Swartz, internet freedom activist, dies aged 26
I'm really not quite sure how to react to this. When I first read it, my initial reaction was "reddit", how shallow of me.... But then I thought about it more and more, and I realized something; he and I both believed in the same thing. Information should be free. Now someone has died for that belief.
I hope for once, the people at Washington can actually get something done from this. It seems that death and taxes are the only two thing that politicians understand.
When you see something that is wrong, you do NOT stand on the side and watch. You speak out for what is right. I believe in what Aaron Swartz was trying to do, and I support his actions. I am against the action that was taken against him.
My voice as one is small, but together we are many, and a raindrop becomes a waterfall.
This blog will never forget the day he died, ever.
